Nova Magna, Valora – Valor Marine Works (VMW), has officially begun construction on what is set to become the largest port complex in the region: the Nova Magna Mega-Port. With a massive financial commitment of $522 Million, VMW has once again cemented itself as the architect of Arcandias' future, propelling the nation into a new era of trade dominance.
The scale of the Mega-Port is nothing short of monumental, setting the bar for all future logistics and shipping endeavors in Arcandias. Once completed, the facility will boast an unprecedented 200 miles of dockyard space, support 1.5 million containers annually (in the first phase), and a direct integration with Arcandias Commerce Group (ACG)’s sprawling supply chain network. The port is designed to accommodate super-sized cargo ships, with docks engineered for vessels that are up to 25% larger than those currently sailing the world's oceans.

Leo Barreto, Head of Logistics at VMW, said in an interview with the Arcandian beacon said, "The Mega-Port is about setting new standards in speed, efficiency, and capacity. We’re creating a flow of goods that will be unmatched anywhere in the world." And, with Mapple Technologies Arcandias (MTA) partnering on port automation systems, the facility is expected to function at peak efficiency day and night. Mapple Technologies has been tight-lipped about the specific technological advancements to be implemented at the port, but rumors of autonomous shipping lanes and real-time cargo tracking have already excited analysts and investors. The Mega-Port is projected to generate over $200 billion in annual trade revenue by 2026, a figure that will no doubt swell Arcandias’ GDP.
