Gwadani, Domlandian Social Republic - In a bold display of participatory governance, the Domlandian Social Republic’s Lunar New Year has started by what local analysts are terming a “second civil war” The 7th Division of Gwadani’s garrison, recently submitted a open letter to the Politburo advocating for the reinstatement of the 2023 Constitution. Major General Zarang Nazemi, declined the invitation to collaborate, opting instead to move his forces into Gwadani’s southwestern district.

By dawn, the skirmishes had escalated, resulting in 2 civilian deaths. Meanwhile, reinforcements from the Jisani military district encircled Gwadani, offering a disarmament ultimatum with a firm deadline of February 1st. Post-deadline, artillery-assisted urban renewal is slated to commence.
Approximately 10% of Gwadani’s residents, have elected to remain in the city and champion constitutional integrity. Rebel leader Mirwais Hotak’s stirring declaration “We’re not leaving or surrendering!” However, they are not to be overshadowed as syndicalist militias across the DSR have issued mission alignment proclamations, pledging fidelity to the National People’s Congress. Unlike Gwadani’s 7th Rifles, these groups have adopted a decentralized operational strategy, vanishing into rural regions to cultivate guerilla efficiencies.
