By dawn, the skirmishes had escalated, resulting in 2 civilian deaths. Meanwhile, reinforcements from the Jisani military district encircled Gwadani, offering a disarmament ultimatum with a firm deadline of February 1st. Post-deadline, artillery-assisted urban renewal is slated to commence.

Approximately 10% of Gwadani’s residents, have elected to remain in the city and champion constitutional integrity. Rebel leader Mirwais Hotak’s stirring declaration “We’re not leaving or surrendering!” However, they are not to be overshadowed as syndicalist militias across the DSR have issued mission alignment proclamations, pledging fidelity to the National People’s Congress.
