Port Solis, Arcandias – A massive fire erupted at the Port Solis shipyard late last night, sending plumes of thick smoke billowing into the sky. The fire, which began shortly after midnight, engulfed several shipping containers and dockside facilities, prompting an emergency response from the Arcandias Horizon Healthcare Systems Fire Service. While no casualties have been reported, the incident has raised eyebrows regarding safety protocols and corporate accountability in a facility that is critical to the nation's economy.

Eyewitness accounts detail a chaotic scene as workers scrambled to evacuate the area. “It all happened so fast,” recounted Marco Cruz, a dock worker employed by Global Freight Solutions (GFS), the main logistics company operating at the port. “One minute we were loading containers, and the next, flames were everywhere. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

While the immediate concern focused on the safety of workers, corporate representatives were quick to downplay the incident. “We are currently assessing the situation and are fully committed to the safety of our employees and the surrounding community,” stated Randall Steele, Vice President of Operations for Global Freight Solutions, in a press conference shortly after the fire was extinguished. His demeanor was calm, bordering on dismissive, as he spoke about “business continuity” in the wake of the disaster. Despite the urgency of the situation, Steele emphasized GFS's impressive safety record. “This is an isolated incident,” he insisted, asserting that the company has protocols in place to manage risks effectively.
