Prinzporte, Biggonia – Archeon Isaiah II, the spiritual leader of the Old Faith, embarked on a monumental two-month tour of the Biggonian subcontinent earlier this month, making his first stop in the Commonwealth of the Biggonian Megaist Empire.

On October 5th at 12:50 PM, Isaiah II plane landed in Prinzporte, marking the start of his journey. The Archeon’s arrival in the capital was met with joy by the local religious figures and members of the Old Faith. During his stay, Isaiah met with Archsepton Marcial Starterm and the Septon of Prinzporte in a series of events. Isaiah was also determined to connect with local believers and missionaries, holding discussions with young devotees and delivering a speech to a crowd of about 100 people that gathered near the ancient Cathedral of Abakhan. Saying in a speech "Faith transcends borders, and it is through our unity in the Old Faith that we shall prosper, in all lands."

Growing the Faith

A central focus of Isaiah II’s tour has been conversion. Since assuming the role of Archeon on September 19, 2024, he has made expanding the ranks of the faithful his top priority. A Arcandian Beacon poll conducted a week after his visit suggest that his outreach efforts have not been successful, with very minimal locals professing their devotion to the faith during his brief stay in Prinzporte. Isaiah’s approach has been one of humility, choosing to walk among the people, visit their homes, and speak directly to them about the tenets of the Old Faith.

Journey Beyond Prinzporte

Following his stay in Prinzporte, Isaiah II visited the ruins of Chabendar. The ruins served as a backdrop for Isaiah’s continued outreach, as he spoke to followers. His next destination was Shurfdorf, a small but bustling town where Isaiah worked alongside the Order Hospitalar Biggonia, a local religious charity known for operating farmlands and providing aid to the impoverished. Isaiah’s time there was marked by discussions with farmers and local workers.

What’s Next for Isaiah II?

As Isaiah II’s tour of Biggonia continues, the next leg of his journey will take him to two neighboring nations within the subcontinent, where he will continue his mission of spreading the Old Faith. Whether Isaiah’s efforts will lead to lasting change remains to be seen. However, one thing is clear: the Archeon’s commitment to his faith, and to the people he serves, is unwavering.
